Originally from Americus, Georgia, Kate has lived in Savannah for almost 10 years. She is married to Kev Jackson and they have three children. With an undergraduate degree in Political Science earned from Valdosta State University, Kate works in administration for Pintail Site Preparation with her husband. Kate is a current participant in Leadership Georgia and has been involved in several community projects like Summer 500, a program that enabled high schoolers in Savannah to work a summer job and learn much needed soft skills through Savannah Technical College. Additionally, her passion for the betterment of her local community is evident through her support of organizations like AMBUCS, the 200 Club, and Loop it Up Savannah.
